Next week’s guest is…
Jessica Lawes, founder of @themumclub and mum of 4 (yes, four!) joins me on next week’s episode of New Leaf. (Additional fun fact… She also happens to be wife to England Rugby player Courtney Lawes).
Ok but I want to listen to something now…
Try Mary Daniels from Series 2.
Mary’s done a Ted Talk on her life experiences and is also the author of an incredible book called Wild Awakening: The 9 questions that Saved my Life.
She has an unbelievable life story. In our episode, she describes standing on Tower Bridge, about to jump off, with her baby in the pram next to her. Of course, she doesn't. Thank goodness. But her bravery and what happens next is amazing.
She’s the sunniest, loveliest and most sparkly person. So the contrast in her stories is just; extraordinary. Wow it’s worth a listen. I’ve replayed her episode several times!
In a Nutshell, we discuss the power of mindset, destructive relationships and postnatal mental health.
Episodes are for everyone, but who would LOVE this episode —>
Mums in blended families
Mums who have experienced postnatal depression
Mums in need of a really, really good story with all the emotions…
Resource of the week
@couples.counselling.for.parents therapists Erin and Stephen.
Accurate, extremely useful, creative and just very good infographics on what it is like to be both a couple and a parent.
I stumbled on their account quite a long time ago and just thought it was absolutely genius / incredibly accurate.
