My next episode with The Mum Club is up!
Jess Lawes, Mum of 4 (!) and Co-Founder of The Mum Club is now live.
Jess was a young mummy, having her first baby at 21. She started The Mum Club back in 2016 with a good mum friend Lauren Webber after sharing the mega frustration that there weren’t really groups for women that were mum-focused, rather than baby-focused. Definitely. They decided to fix it, and the rest is history.
In a Nutshell, we discuss twin pregnancy, having children before your career and putting yourself first.
Episodes are for everyone… but - who would LOVE this episode —>
Mums who had babies young
Mums who had multiple births
Mums who love Rugby (Jess’s husband happens to be Courtney Lawes)
Mum trivia of the week…
Ever feeling overwhelmed by the number of children you have?
I decided to look up the most children one woman has ever had, and it rapidly made my two boys feel a lot more manageable. Check out this list.
The Radford Family in the UK have 22 children, and even had a programme made about their family.
What’s your score?
I score a solid 18.
Product of the week…
Babies love crinkly stuff, and their teeth appear to hurt ages 0-3 it seems (my child is 3. So I’ll let you know when this stops, when I have a single clue.)
When they’re too young to hold a matchstick monkey properly, try this teething glove. My son loved it.
It’s so, so cheap and it works.
Need to laugh?
Ali Wong is a comedian who honestly made me (and my husband tbh) DIE laughing with this standup that she did when she was pregnant.
If you need a proper laugh, with some incredible home truths and contradictions about the hilarity of being pregnant / motherhood / feminism, then watch her.
Into the podcast?
I cannot tell you how much ratings help when it comes to getting the message out there about what I do.
Want to do something extremely nice?
Have a lovely day everyone
